Multi-turn transmission (Multi-turn Actuator) is a specialized device used to open/close and adjust valve has a multi-turn travel, like gate valve, globe valve, knife valve... The equipment is widely used in water treatment plants, petrochemical refineries, fire protection systems, thermal power plants and heavy processing industries.
Working principle:
The actuator creates a multi-turn rotation (usually >1 turn) by an electric or pneumatic motor to control the valve shaft. The device can operate in On/Off or Modulating mode via a control signal (4–20mA, 0–10V, Profibus, Modbus…).
Outstanding features
Precise control: Allows opening and closing of valves at multiple rotation angles, suitable for large valves or valves with long strokes.
Integrated intelligent control: Can be connected to SCADA, DCS or PLC remote control systems.
Operation mode options: Electric, pneumatic or hydraulic control. Both local and remote control modes available.
Rugged design, high protection: Die-cast aluminum or stainless steel housing, IP67 – IP68 waterproof standard, ATEX explosion-proof (optional).
Easy installation & maintenance: Suitable for all ISO 5210 / DIN / ANSI standard valves.
